I’ve enjoyed this album from it publishing. What’s more, I’ve enjoyed this band live since ‘74. I’ve enjoyed this family. Look at us now. The kids keep coming. The old ones keep grooving. Give yourselves some love today! Maybe we’ll see you someday at Boreal Ridge or Santa Fe Downs, or Terrapin Station.

On Eyes. Wish they would release more of the band's shows with Branford Marsalis and Bruce Hornsby. Great stuff.

I have several albums of the dead; heard them live a couple of times back in the day when they were just another v good band --before the dead head phenom started and in a sense ruined the band.
This is not a very good album --some strange keyboard undead like sounds; sax --horrible soft jazz sax-- in at least one number; "birdsong" though is a pretty good number.
Garcia's playing hides a lot behind another lead guitar player or keyboard or sax; I miss how he plays in other albums or performances when he's just jamming with Lesh and Weir. Best album? I give it two and half stars.
Keep going back to it

This collection of tour performances is amazing. I find myself going back to it a lot and particularly the Eyes of the World w/ Branford accompanying. The band truly captures 13+ minutes of in-formation flight and Garcia's melody and barrage of expression is worth coming back to for a lifetime of inspiration.

Every song on this album is fantastic. The keyboards on let it grow kill me every time. Grateful Dead's greatest album, period.

I have dozens of recordings and albums of the Dead and this is definitly competing for number 1. This recording is superior to the dick's picks by far. Every guitar note is crisp and clear. The set list has alot of popular songs but these versions are some of the greatest. I'd give this album some seroious thought folks.
