These shows were electric. It wasn't the drugs, though there were drugs. The boys were in my backyard again after the SPAC debacles and we were an excited bunch. They felt it and fed it back to us the way only they could. Amazing!

This is my favorite recording of all the Dead shows that have been released over the years. I love the Built To Last material and this was a few months before Brent died and remarkably he was playing and singing at his best during this time. Excellent song choices and anytime they played "The Wheel" it's worth buying.
Worth It, Great Sound Quality

i've had this a long time on cd. the superb sound quality matches Without a Net, but unlike that release the playlist here is extraordinary. Hell In a Bucket starts the show blasting out of the gate followed by Dupree, which sets the tone. it's a great mix of older and more recent material. the standouts are Row Jimmy, Masterpiece, Lady With a Fan, Mud Love, and Stella Blue is entrancing. plus Brent's rendition of Never Trust a Woman might be his best vocal performance ever.
Great release from Brent

After Without a Net, this is most essential release to build your library of the later-period Dead. Great quality, both in sound and performance. Very hot Jerry playing in Watchtower, Brent singing I Will Take You Home is chilling, and of course Playing in the Band>Uncle John's Band>Terrapin>Mind Left Body Jam is why we love the Dead!
