Reviews

  • It's definitely Mastodon

This album is amazing it's Mastodon of course it is. They are metal legends(prefer not to say gods) the complex drumming, the crushing riffs and those thundering screams by Troy Sanders. I don't think it's their best actually I think it's their second least good with Once More Round The Sun being the least good. Notice how I'm not saying worst that's because they really have no bad albums.
  • Crushing Record

Mastodon live up to their name sake on this record. Crushing riffs and pounding drums mixed with an underlying sense if southern song smithing. Stand out tracks include March of the Fire Ants, Ol'e Nessie and Trampled Under Hoof. Can't here a huge difference in the remastered version. Maybe the instruments are a little clearer and the vocals a little easier to understand. Or maybe I am projecting.
  • The good 'ole days.
