First off the remission sucked balls and secondly these are some of the best vocals I've ever heard.

this E.P. Sounds alot like the radio and the radio is fcking garbage. mastadon needs to make more albums like leviathan and remission, or like my favorite song by them, their movie theater song at the beginning of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie. They need to go back to the way they fcking were
  • They are awesome

not a very good album and they arent very good live either (they were pelted with random objects during their performance) vocals and sounds are nothing i havent heard before its extremely disapointing considering they've done good things in the past

its great to see their cover of the Bit. Awesome song; done very well. They always have a good representation of their songs live. Very cool little release

Most people who already own these songs won't really find much new in the live versions. But for newcomers, this is a great place to showcase Mastodon. They're great composers, great live preformers, and in general great musicians. Buy their classic track Oblivion to see if you'll enjoy more of one of the greatest modern prog metal bands.
