Horrible!

Jimmy, please dump all the corporate influences around you, grab a bottle of tequila, head to the islands with your acoustic guitar and a harmonica, and tell us some stories again. This song is painful. Not sure what Jimmys thoughts were on recording this. He has really lost his way, and what made him famous. Just listen to his last few CDs - disposable music. His band needs to quit being "Yes" people around him, and keep songs like this away from him.
Love it

I really liked it, not sure what all of these people are complaining about. It's great to me!

I’ve been a Parrot-Head for 30 plus years, caught Jimmy in concert around 20 times (6 in Cincinnati!) and I own every album…up to the last 2 or so. But I can’t even understand this kind of effort!! The artistry is gone, the lyrics have gotten progressively worse, (Really, is this a song you’re gonna sing and remember like One Particular Harbor? Like Biloxi? Like Fruitcakes or 12-volt Man or La Vie Dasante? Really?). And sadly, Buffet’s pipes are shot, he sings like an old man now. Plus, the whole island-feel, can’t make the rent, country-rock-reggae vibe sold out for corporate schtick and merchandise years ago. Buffet used to be the king of fun and sun; you made memories to Buffet songs. But that is gone and he should quit before he gets pathetic, like the Rolling Stones. It’s all about the money now.
Enough, enough. I’m done contributing money to this ever elusive future—I’ll stick to the past.
Good song

Keep it up Buffett. Can't wait to buy the rest of the album.

Ok, it's not typical. It's different, but for a true, I mean really true fan, it's pretty good and you should listen to the message. Anybody who trashed this song is just some sort of Trop-Rock fanboy with no depth in their musical spectrum. Thanks JB for being real.

Sounded like a cut from a movie soundtrack…..(JP?) Had to be purpose-written…...
Not classic Jimmy but fun and lyrical strong

I am a second generation Parrothead since 87(when I was born). Grew up on Jimmy and while he has evolved and become more mainstream his music is still that unique blend of fun and waxing philosophical that has set him apart over the years. EEF is one of his strongest songs lyric wise in recent memory despite its more pop music elements.
