Sure, I have 47 versions of Margaritaville on my iPod (it is my iPod), and I welcomed version #48. Sounds like Brett was having a lot of fun. Imagine that, fun at a Buffett show. Cracks me up seeing the negative reviews. Preview wasn't enough? You had to drop $1.29 just to post your displeasure?
Hey iTunes, how about adding "Live By The Bay" as well? I would buy that in a heartbeat!

I laugh when I read that people are dissing Bret Michaels as an "80's" singer who shouldn't be singing this song when Jimmy Buffett is also an 80's singer who released this song in 1977 (and it launched his 30 plus year career)! It seems as though this was quite impromptu and unrehearsed and I think it's a fun song with two talented guys who I have been fans of for years. If you don't like this version, no one is forcing you to listen.

Oh, dear GOD!!! This has got to be the most PAINFUL rendition of this song that I have EVER heard! Some people need to stick to their own musical genre!! Now I know why the music is so loud when BM "sings"! It's to hide the sad truth that he really CANT!! Purse your lips and take a little more oxycontin for your headache, and PLEASE, stay outta Margaritaville!!!

I have every single thing Jimmy Buffett has ever released ... until now ... I draw the line right here ... Instead of this re-tread with Bret Michaels (like ... who cares) why don't they release the live version of "When The Coast Is Clear" from the Gulf Shores Concert ? That was actually what I was looking for and hoping to find when I came across this archeological disappointment ....

Jimmy is so much fun! I'm glad he invited Bret Micheals for this song. It's a fun Song.
It also reminds me of the Live Concert Jimmy Buffett did for the Gulf Shores! I had a blast listening to my Pascagola, MS fellow Mississippian Jimmy Buffett and his Friends Jessie Winchester w/ "MS Your'e On My Mind"
and with Mac McAnally!! A great Show! For a great cause. People have been asking if he will record it, they want that Concert on Gulf Shores.
It was Great and Jimmy was touched singing one specail of his and also "Five Oclock Somewhere"
Margarativille is more than worth the Money, anything Jimmy Buffett Touches! alohoa

Hey, I am sick of all of the Brett Michaels Haters!!! He is a singer/songwriter/performer and his job is to get out and do all of those things as much as possible. I love that he is out doing his thing and having fun. No better way to have fun than with Jimmy Buffet. Buy the song and have a great summer!!!
