Pathetic Mess

A mid- life crisis inducing pathetic attempt at musical bliss. Jimmy Buffet has literally run the wheels off of his beach lifestyle SUV of a career. No musical acrobatics here, just sub- par karaoke from a guy who has been a master marketer of a rotten voice
Excellent Remake

Jimmy sounds great in this remake of his 1979 Volcano album. I prefer his live music anyway, but this is an exceptional album - a must have for any Parrothead :)
One of the Best Live concerts Ever!

@RomeoBravoSierra - i can answer your question for most of the tunes on this recording, as i've been listening to all shows this year.
Fins and Volcano - not yet sure, they were played at every show and I haven't gone back to listen to each version yet; but it's a good bet they came from some of the dates that follow.
Treat Her Like A Lady - 23 Apr West Palm Beach
Stranded on a Sandbar - 23 Apr West Palm Beach
Chanson ... - either 19 Apr Raleigh NC or 21 Apr Charlotte NC - unfortunately, i was moving this week to southern Thailand and missed these two shows :-(
Survive - either 19 Apr Raleigh NC or 21 Apr Charlotte NC
Lady I Can't Explain - either 19 Apr Raleigh NC or 21 Apr Charlotte NC
Boat Drinks - 23 Apr West Palm Beach FL
Dreamsicle - 21 Jun Burgettstown PA
Sending the Old Man Home - either 19 Apr Raleigh NC or 21 Apr Charlotte NC
Hope that helps!
And yes, the quality is better than what was aired on Radio Margaritaville; the vocals are particularly crisp. Good recordings all the way around. By my reckoning, they've also got almost enough tracks to release a live version of 'White Sport Coat .. ' so let's hope the Coral Reefers plug a few more gaps and continue with this scheme, releasing 'live' versions of more classic albums.
NC show touched my heart

Saw Jimmy in Raleigh NC in April just after some killer tornadoes & when he closed with "Survive" I cried. I love the song anyway, but that night it all came home & the tears were flowing. When I was offered the opportunity to download this song, I did immediately. I love you, JB. Thank you
He knew I would

I bought it. Jimmy knew I would. But this is not his best album. I'd love to have a live version of CILCIA or A1A. Heck, I'd love for him to dig up some of his old '70s shows and put them out.
I typically skip live albums, but every time Bubba has put one out, I've bought it. Almost to a letter, they are awesome. The production on this one is better than most, so it definitely will earn a spot in the rotation.

With all the good reviews ya really don't need another one, but here goes....WONDERFUL RECORDING!!! Jimmy sounds fantastic on
these recordings. They are not recorded "all together" as in once show, but from various shows - I wish there was a way to find out
which song was recorded where just so I could see if "I" was at that particular concert. He does however, give greetings to various
places at either the beginning of end of a song, but not all of them. Anyway, this really is worth adding to the Parrotthead collection
to enjoy over and over again. CHEERS!
Worth it for Dreamsicle alone!

I was hoping Jimmy would release something like this when he pulled all the Volcano songs out of his bag of gems during the Welcome to Fin Land tour! Several great songs we rarely if ever hear live (Dreamsicle, Lady I Can't Explain, Sending the Old Man Home..) To top it off, the sound quality is outstanding and sets it apart from the Radio Margaritaville recordings.
