Truly one of the most beautiful things I've heard in a long time. I listened to it while walking my dog this afternoon, which seemed absolutely appropriate. Being outside on a fall day with my dog and hearing this album was just one of those perfect moments.

All the best things about Laurie Anderson are here. Plus a moving endpiece by Lou Reed. This soundtrack album runs nearly as long as the movie. And the movie works well without pictures. Both are meditative, thoughtful, moving, imaginative, funny, empathic.
