this is pretty good. they sound soooo much better live though; especially surrender. i saw them in atlanta with heart and journey...... that 9 year old kid shouldn't brag about him getting a guitar pick. people would kill to get at least one guitar pick. the last thing they need is some little 9 year old to rubb it in their face. well im 12 and got guitar picks at the concert, but im not bragging about it.
These guys are awesome!

Zander's Voice has such a great style to it and Rick's guitar is slightly muffed and tuned up. This is a good compilation of songs but I would like to here "Dream police" and/or "The Flame."

For those of you unfamiliar with Cheap Trick, this is a perfect album to get you acclimated with the band. You will see what the rest of us already know, Robin Zander is a phenomenal singer. The musicianship of Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson, and Bun E. Carlos has only tightened up over the years. I highly recommend this album.
Cool!

Don't pay any attention to the other review. This is a great set. Just listen to how amazingly gorgeous Robin Zander's voice still is after all these years! How does he do it? I want to know who his voice coach is!!! Cheap Trick is always was and still is and will continue to be an amazing band - great songs, great voice, great playing, passion, energy...they have it all! The Rolling who?
