  • Great but not perfect

This is one of my favorite Cheap Trick albums. The first four songs have always been my favorites, especially I Don’t Love Here Anymore. This album reminds me of Utopia, especially their album Oops! Wrong Planet. Heaven’s Falling is another good song and Invaders Of The Heart is a lot of fun. Like most Cheap Trick albums, even my favorite Heaven Tonight, I don’t love every song. This is a good album and better than most of the albums that followed it in the 80’s and 90’s.

There are so many great power pop songs on this album. My only complaint when I bought it years ago (and still now) is the AWFUL cover version of The Motor's "Dancing The Night Away". Just the start of that song used to have me running for my turntable to lift the arm off the record!!! Otherwise, man, there are some AMAZING tunes here - tracks 1-5, 9, 10, & 15 are all top notch. "Y.O.Y.O.Y" is, along with "Ghost Town" from their Lap Of Luxury lp, one of my favorite CT ballads. But, as mentioned in the review, "Heaven's Falling" is the real gem here. Trust me on this, folks! :)
