Metallica used to be good. Pretty much all of their albums were good up to Reload, then St. Anger came, which is the worst Metallica album ever. Death Magnetic wasn't good either. I guess at least the new album from 2016 is decent, better than the 2 albums before it. This ep is terrible tho.

Ever since I was a boy my father always played Metallica and its amazing how Metallica has transitioned into something a lot better! Some kind of monster (edit) blew me away. The difference is huge hearing Robert's bass more clearly. Will always be giving 5 stars 👍🏼

This ep is great. Some Kind of Monster is one of my favorite songs by the band. I also like the other songs, which were recorded live in paris for 3 shows in one day in 2003. Some Kind of Monster: 8.5/10 The Four Horsemen: 9/10 Damage Inc: 7/10 Leper Messiah: 8/10 Motorbreath: 7.5/10 Ride the Lightning: 7/10 Hit the Lights: 9.5/10 Some Kind of Monster (edit): 10/10

This is just ... bad. The mix is awful and Hetfield's vocals are as bad as I've ever heard them. Between this and "Through the Never," I'm going to be very wary of ever purchasing another live Metallica collection — and you know there will be more.
  • I love the new version

I like the new version of Some Kind Of Monster, but these live recordings are great! Idk how you can't dig it.. it isn't metallica from the 90's but its an evolved being.. i think.. whatever, hate on.. metallica will still continue

Remember when this band used to be amazing? Remember when they knew how to burn the house down with their sonic assault? They're not even a shadow of what they were. Hetfield's voice is just awful on this album. I'd say I'm shocked that they'd release such garbage but they lost all my respect years ago.
