The only thing that was good from them releasing this was them going back on the billboard charts. I don’t think there is any differences between the original and remastered. Buy the original, it has Animated art work if that is big deal for you, save your money, you maybe miss out on some bass solos, or slightly less quality, (I think remastering improves bass audio ability), just save your money, also you get the booklet, witch apple can you make it view able on phone and not Macintosh only.

Almost bought the original a couple months ago. Glad i waited and got this instead. When I bought this record in 1996 i hated it. But now at 45 I absolutely love it. So many good memories.

Each song has something different and invokes a feeling unlike any other album. The remastered tracks are amazing and proves that even the OG recordings were mixed to perfection.

To those whining, yes this is a great bluesy inspired metal album. It’s what makes Metallica great, they’re all about giving different flavors of metal too choose from. If you quit listening to them before or after the Black album please don’t forget to use the Metallica butt hurt cream too soothe your bum!

If you don’t own this record you’re lucky. If you do, you won’t even know what’s different. It sounds the same. It’s the last listenable Metallica record. But it’s still basically a hair metal record. It’s not heavy and 90’s pop music.

Classic album in my eyes, shows a perfect progression after the black album. I own the original release but this sounds so crisp clear, must buy! 🖤

I feel Load is one of those albums that you like more as you mature in age. Yeah this isn’t thrash 80s metal, but that’s what happens when a band goes through change. This is overall a more grungy album which fits the time period of the album’s release. It ain’t for everyone, but It’s one of my favorites, and I love it for what it is.
