What happened? The music is good but in Enter Sandman I was disappointed that they had to stop in the middle of the song bc an amp blew or something
  • One of the best live albums

This record is really great! Sure it's a companion album but it's still amazing to listen to! It sounds so good you feel like your there. There is of course in Ride the Lighting when the mic breaks when Hetfeild is singing, but you never know what's gonna happen when it's live!
  • Incredible.

To start off, the songs have faster BPM. Creeping Death sounds MUCH better when it's sped up and has good sound quality. The transition from one song to another sounds like nothing changed (cut) and the sound quality was amazing. The only flaw - Orion wasn't live. It was actually the song that played in the credits. As for seeing it live in person, the statue falling in ...And Justice For All was SO COOL! Same with the electric chair in Ride the Lightning. This soundtrack is by far the best live soundtrack Metallica has ever done. If you don't prefer these songs, Binge and Purge has more such as Seek and Destroy and Fade to Black. Easy 5 stars.

Where in the hell is "Through the Never"? I love Metallica but what the $&*# is up with that. I have Binge & Purge so I dont need this one. It is good however, but I have it already with a different title. At least they arent Kiss. You know! with the fillers and all. The actual movie is good to watch but I dont need a soundtrack

If you knew anything about the band, you would know that Metallica has always been a better live band than a studio band. I for one am glad to have a version of Hit the Lights where James doesn't sound like he's 12. Love it.
  • Are they serious?

I dearly love the band's first four albums but maybe it's time to call it a day. This is just embarrassing.
  • Great album!

I love the songs on this album. Why only 4 stars? Because James voice was kind of weak as compared to the live albums of the 80's and 90's. Other than that, this is a great album. By the way towards the end of Enter Sandman was that a accident with the performance?
  • The movie and The album ROCKS !

I have the movie and the soundtrack . I've seen it about 10 times and love it . The concert is so impressive , a great production , great sound and special effects. James along with all Metallica band members are ravashing! I have the CDs in my car and listen to them a lot ! Thumbs up for METALLICA !
