Ms. Jody Watley has been known as the Queen of Cool and rightfully deserves that title. Jody has always been ahead of the game in every aspect of her art. Her performances are legendary and anyone who was lucky enough to see her live especially recently in Oakland know why. She hasn't lost a move since her days on Soul Train. The fans she and her dancers used during the performance of Saturday Night Experience was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Listening to Ms. Watley will elevate your cool status I assure you. I've followed her from the start and she never fails to disappoint her fans. I feel like the coolest person in the world when I crank on Jody! I have heard the album at least 8 times since the release and it gets better and better! The Dancer should be the next jam released. It will make you feel ultra cool! Bravo Ms. Watley!

Everything and more than I so anxiously expected!!! The reviews are indeed correct...this collection is both glamorous and funky but the sheer vocal brilliance here breathes life into every silky groove.. I've been a lifelong fan and as Ms. Watley evolved, be it jazz, sultry r&b or electronica, it's been a musical journey I've savored every step of the way.. What can be about Jody new cd "Paradise", other it should come with an warning label, play when you want to hear music that will move you body and soul! 1. Nightlife... Just classic dance song, from top to bottom 2. Dancer... Work it... She calling all dancers to come to the floor, but beats from this jam, calls you no matter what,,, I feel the sounds from "Thank God It's Friday" in this. 3. The Dawn... Jody Watley give us a another example why she was seen as a great dancer on Soul Train,,, yea, yea, 4. Tonight's the Night... Fair warning playing this if you're at the gym, running or bike riding, it will pump you up into doing more sit-ups for that sexy outfit you want to wear that night,,, and you will hear this great song at the clubs.... Dance till the sun comes up. 5. Paradise... So chic, cool, slick,,, and great just to shake your head to,,, put a smile on you face, and a vision of the islands. Or is that just me.... 6.
