Buy the Soulcast Icon Mix! The name really says it all! It's a positive, feel-great, and never-want-to-end song. It's mixed so well, I believe it is one of the top 10 remixes of all time! I bought it last year and I still shared it with friends.

Always an innovator never a follower jody sets the mark once again for remix eps. If you thought the Borderline remixes were good these are 10 times better. If I'm so bold to say after being a fan of 20 years probably some of her best remixes since the 'initimacy' project. Jody is always a step ahead when it comes to reinventing her sound. I always support and admire artists that aren't afraid to take chances and do what they want and Jody is just that. Alot of 'pop' artists never recreate they just duplicate and Jody never duplicates.

There are so few artist that can evolved or have the artistic ability while doing it on their own terms! Jody Watley proves that she can throw homage to a Chic classic and make it her own! With tribal rhythms and infectious beat these tracks will keep you moving! Stand outs tracks are: Angel Manual Dirty Mix, Zoned out Vintage, Masi & Mellow Lat night mix & Christian Paduraru Mix…Keep em coming Jody.

Have to say I was disappointed with Jody Watley's last single - a rather bland remake of "Borderline". But this one is much better. First off you have a good set of remixes. And these remixers really highlight her voice - make it much more "Jody" sounding than her last single. The best mix on here bar none is the Soulcast Icon Mix - it really transforms this disco cover into something current - something that you would hear peak hour in the hottest clubs. If you're only going to download one mix - pick that one. The Danny Krivit Mix is way slowed down '70s style - probably 115 BPM or something - but it sounds almost like the Chic version. The Masi and Mellow & Morgan Page mixes are ok - two different takes on the song. Both sound like something you'd want to listen to on the way to the club - but probably not peak hour. All in all this is probably Jody's best dance release in years.

Any of these mixes will work on the dance floor, working out, in the car on full blast - heck.. they can even play this loud in Abercrombie and Fitch! Soulcast, Morgan Paige, Masi and Mellow, House Party Mix - really they all work. Ms. Watley does it again. Adding them all to my playlist - iPod.

Jody Watley proves once again why she is a strong force in the dance/electronic community. She has done an amazing job with this cover of the Chic classic! The original album version from The Makeover is superb but here we are treated to some really good mixes. The best thing about Jody's singles like this, is she knows how to please the fans, giving them different mix styles from house to funk to electro to tribal. My personal faves are the Morgan Page Sunset Strip Mix and the Soulcast Icon Mix, but Danny Krivit does a great job at re-creating the 70's vibe of Chic.
