Map of the Problematique is my favorite Muse song by far. I am a HUGE Muse fanatic and have been since I was ten years old (I'm 16 now). This song is amazing, exciting, and powerful. The remixes are just...not. Frankly, they're terrible. The second remix was just...miserable. I was practically flinching the entire time I heard it. The third is almost exactly the same as the original. Honestly, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," and this song was far from "broke." The remixes definately take away from the original, and I'm really disappointed with this. Don't waist your money. Go buy Fury from Muse's album, Absolution. It is way better than this so called remix.
It does offend me

The remix is annoying, period. It fails in comparison to the beauty of the original song. Muse songs should not be remixed, or at least remixed by people who know the true magnificence of Muse songs.
Simply Beautiful

Fear and panic in the air
I want to be free
From desolation and despair
And I feel like everything I sew
Is being swept away
When I refuse to let you go
I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met You
Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?
Life
Will flash before my eyes
So scattered and lost
I want to touch the other side
And no one
Thinks they are to blame
Why cant we see
That when we bleed we bleed the same?
I can't get it right
Get it right
Since I met you
Loneliness be over
When will this Loneliness be over?
Loneliness be over
When will this loneliness be over?
I am very harsh judge of music but this song is simply the best song in the world, so beautiful and unique.

"Map Of The Problematique" is, in my opinion the best song Muse has to offer, and they have a lot of great songs. The remix of this song, however, is not close to what I thought it was going to be. It's not good, don't get it. The AOL Session sounds almost identical to the original version of the song, so it's kind of a waste, and more a filler.
what?

I absolutely LOVE this EP, but on iTunes, they don't have the entire thing. If you go to the Muse website, (www.muse.mu) you can listen to EVERY song on EVERY album. Some of the other remixes are really good as well.
What's with the remix?

I love Muse, and while Map of The Problematique is an excellent song, I'm disappointed with the remix.
It completely over-engineers the original.
Buy the original, but please don't waste your dollar on the remix
Brilliant, We Want More!!!

These remixes are amazing!!! But for all Muse fans avidly SEARCHING for available B-Sides in any online store they can find, they are presently awaiting some more from iTunes!!! That would include me:] I am so excited they've begun to put these on here, it is a start. Map Of The Problematique is brilliant, any version you put it in the fact remains the same. I hope more B-Sides, specifically the much older ones like Deadstar and Nishe and Spiral Static, are forthcoming! FINALLY the U.S. can see just how brilliant Muse really are:] THE RESISTANCE IS COMING, SEPTEMBER 14TH:]]]((Annaa)).
Trust me, it's that good.

This deserves its five stars. I mean, where to start with this song? Its ambiguous politics, the delay-processed guitar, the thundering bass, the gentle piano, the Travis Barker-style drumming, ah, heck, ALL of the song is frickin' genius. This, along with "Supermassive", is the most different song these boys have come up with. This has to be some of the best engineered noise ever. And now, we have a remix from some of the best noise engineers around: Does It Offend You, Yeah? These guys can rock out their keyboards as if they were Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead, and now they've given this instant classic a "We Are Rockstars" makeover. Classic stuff.
P.S. iTunes, if you're listening, put the Streets/Muse collaboration on here!
