Sgt. Pepper: The act you've known for all these years.

"It was twenty years ago today, that Sgt. Pepper taught the band how to play. They've been going in and out of style, but their guaranteed to raise a smile."
This album, whether it intended to or not, completely reinvented the world of music. Each of the songs on this extraordinary album are unique in their own peculiar way. "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds" is a colorful love song about a girl with kaleidoscope eyes, while "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" is a literal circus in your ears. On this album, you'll hear the most interesting things-from Paul McCartney doting on a meter maid on "Lovely Rita," to George Harrison's transcendant harmonies on "Within You Without You." And then there's "A Day in the Life"-which is more of a two-part story rather than a song. All in all, this album is truly incredible, and I highly recommend downloading it if you love the Beatles.

If you are a Beatles fan and own the orginal version of this album buy this version. The Beatles preferred recodring in mono even though stereo was available at the time. It was remixed in stereo by George Martin's son and is like listening to it the first time. The other Deluxe Edition shows how they built tracks to get to the final version. It's mindblowing to think it was recoreded on a 4 track recorder and dumped down to another four track recorder to open more tracks. Hard to belive the band was only together for 7 years. The greatest inovators of all time. Pure genius
