Depending upon which creative-door you entered through, Hoodoo Zephyr will either delight you or startle you. There is little of the "post-Romantic" sensibility at work here. This is a wonderfully energetic, frenetic series, calling in many of the trappings of rock. Challenging as much of JA's work is; much more "commercial" than some. Hoodoo tickles, first, then persuades. JA makes me smile.
