They broke the beautiful machine that made the Night Tripper once he was born. The one and only Dr. John.

As I said before whatever genre of music there was.It needed a polished groove and that was supplied by the tasteful and superb drums of the Late and great Jeff Porcaro His quiet laid back easy style lent just the right touch. There was was nothing bombastic or brash. It all sounded so perfect. And that's why he was so highly regarded as the best session drummer of all time.Nobody can ever match that. And forever and ever my number one fav of all time who plays on my heartstrings every night. And gorgeous Dreamyeyed Angel. And leader of Heavens Rhythm Section.I love what he does and it makes me miss him even more. It's not the same without him and his drums. As always I remain his loyal fan.πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚πŸŽΈπŸŽ·πŸŽΊπŸŽΊβ€οΈπŸ˜…πŸ˜„πŸ’œπŸ’šπŸ˜¬πŸˆπŸ’›πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜ˆπŸ“€πŸŽΌπŸŽ»πŸ“±πŸ“²πŸ“²πŸŽ€πŸ˜ΏπŸŽ§πŸŽ§πŸŽΉπŸŽΉπŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜¬πŸ˜¬

Too many people know of Dr. John from his gumbo rock. But the REAL Dr. John can be found here on this excellent album. It's wonderful New Orleans style jazz with big band accompanyment. His piano playing is wonderful. The tunes are romantic, catchy and memorable. I strongly recommend Makin' Whoopie (with Rickie Lee Jones), My Buddy and More Than You Know. It might change the way you think of Dr. John!

I HAD to buy this album after hearing "More Than You Know" on one of the sweetest movies of all time: "The Night We Never Met." This is a well worn favorite.
