Hey, Rob Mullins here.
Ok, so this was a live album except for the title track which I played drums on and Larry Antonino played bass on.
We did this at a private studio and the guy doesn't want me to say where. Ok dood, whatever.
There was a great deal of anticipation about what Brian Bromberg and I would sound like and I have to tell you that I love playing with Brian-he is the ultimate bass player.

Classic must have jazz album-composition and sound is incredible. Rob truly connects with each piece and really puts his own personal touch on every track. From the upbeat sound of the title track- “Jazz Straight Ahead” to the string strumming of “Georgia on my Mind” this is an album that is a must have for everyone's music library.

Fast paced and high energy songs, jazz trio and quartet. I think Jazz Straight Ahead, 5 4 3 2 1 and Georgia are my favorites.
