  • Ah yes, Denver in the 80's!

    Anyone who was in their 20's in the 80's will remember how much better life was then. We were all carefree! Everyone was friendly with each other. Playing music was very respectable and bands were fairly compensated. Not so as I write you in 2014. During this time, I was heavily influenced by the late great Joe Zawinul who was, IMHO, the most important keyboardist of the 1970's. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Herbie, but what Joe was doing with horrible available technology was truly amazing! Laura Newman is truly outstanding on this record, I have yet to hear her top what she did on this record. And Marty Ruddy was amazing as well. Enjoy!
