I've had the priviledge of obtaining an advance copy of the Greatest Songs of the Seventies at one of his concerts. This is an awesome single. No doubt about that. Having heard numerous 'cover' album efforts, they just never get it right. If you have been awaiting the release of Manilow's follow-up to The Greatest Songs of the Sixties, you're in for a huge treat. He shares the producer's hat with Mariah Carey's producer, Walter Afanasieff on a couple of songs. Also, the acoustic set of his greatest hits are by far ten times better than the originals. You will be pleased.
