Wow, this cd could have been something special, not that isn't already. Let me start by stating this disc is very expensive because it's the running time of an extended single. This whole cd clocks in at under 30 minutes and left a lot of us feeling cheated. That said, the arrangements are a bit sterile given Barry penchant for perfection but Barry's vocal indicates he really loved this project interjecting heart and soul into every performance. Repeating my opening statement I really wish Barry would have taken advantage of sonic space and graced this cd with more songs, there are so many Frank Sinatra recordings that are the definitive versions of the American songbook.

An underapprecciated item in Manilow's impressive career catalog. One of his best album's of the 90's. Impeccably arranged and skillfully performed. Manilow proves he is a fine vocalist as well as a multi-talented songwriter and musician. Highly recommended to fans of Manilow, Sinatra and great music and song.
