Jon and the Band Geeks were meant to meet. And i am so glad they did. I saw them in concert 8/24 and I can truly say it was the most joyful concert I've seen all year (and I see a LOT of concerts). I was worried this album would sound "off", because it's hard to make new music due to Jon being such an Icon. But man - I WAS WRONG. This is a strong and very natural sounding album. Keep it going gents, we need to see you out on the road again. Preferably with no opening act. Play us the YES classics as well as these great new songs!!

Gave this 5 stars because of the content. I pretty much love anything with Jon Anderson. I have to say that each song downloaded into iTunes as its own unique entity and not as a single artist or album. So if I want to listen to the entire album one song after the other I have to make it a playlist. Very annoying.

Jon Anderson is back and in amazing voice. This is his best work in a long time and The Band Geeks are the perfect group of musicians to support him. It doesn't really matter if this isn't groundbreaking new music stylistically speaking. It is as conmfortable as a well-worn sofa and just as enjoyable. It's such a joy to hear an artist who so many of us grew up with and grew with still creating new songs in his instantly identifiable voice. Yes was one of the originators of the prog rock genre and now, as one of the elder statesmen of the style Jon carries it off as only a true great can. Thanks Jon and hope you keep the tunes coming.

Last fall I saw Jon and the Bsnd Geeks and they were incredible, great show. I approached this release with hesitation as I feared it would not live up to that performance and would be way too laid back. The preview snippets were not enough to sway me. I was wrong, what a great release, and even the slower moments are beautiful written melodies and superb musicianship. Vocally Jon sounds very strong, mind boggling as he’s almost 80. This may be the best YES related material to come out in a very very long time. If you are a fan of YES, don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.

This is YES re-visited. Not being critical. For the time, YES was amazing. Yet, that time has passed. I commend you for your dedication however, time for a change to remain relevant. ✌🏻

i dont know who mastered this but everything below 100 hertz drops off drasticaly. And there is this annoying 500 hrtz build up. Such a shame because it truly is a great album.

More excellent stuff from Jon. Very YES sounding, in fine voice and songwriting. So glad to see this artist continuing to put out high quality music!

As a life long Yes fan and an even bigger Jon Anderson fan I am blown away by this disc. The Band Geeks are the Greatest musicians you have never heard of ( unless you have followed them on youtube for years like I have ). Richie is without a doubt the leader of the geeks. All of them are multi instrumentalists and play to perfection. Jon’s voice has never sounded better. He is a fine wine. I cannot help but listen to the many layers that have been created on each track. The harmonies that harken back to the Yes of the 70’s and 80’s, its almost scary how it even reminds me of Chris Squires voice in the background. I loved Jon and Roine Stoldts disc many years ago but this one is by far the best Prog music released in the past 20 years I have ever heard. They are even better live. The energy theses guys have together is priceless. It has Jon on a level not heard in ages. It is almost a shame this is not called a Yes album because these guys play Yes music better than the current lineup. I have seen the current lineup and they fall flat and play as if its just a job and uninspiring. The Geeks on the other hand keep you on your feet and engaged. I pray Jon and the Geeks keep this thing going and release more superb music.
