Short and sweet review here. Charley Crockett has been releasing new music at a frenetic pace since 2016. I finally went and caught his live “Man from Waco” tour in December 2022. He proved to me what I’ve felt I’ve known all along. This man is the genuine article. He’s a Honky tonk troubadour and a soul and rhythm and blues singer/ performer all wrapped up into one well rehearsed musical package. He is what country music needs if it wants to admit it or not. For that matter he is what all music needs. Charley has arrived at a time in music where country music especially is suffering from a lack of quality and proper direction. This man and his band are a huge breath of fresh air. Charley Crockett live at the Ryman Will let all who have not seen his live show know what they are in for. Go see him for yourself his passion along with his top shelf band will blow you all away in a beautiful way. Now as Charley would say “Run horse run” and go purchase this new live release and you too will know just how amazing this man and his music truly is!
