This is the gentlemen who, along with Colter Wall, finally managed to eclipse Wayne "the traiin" Hancock as the standard bearer of genuine hillbilly music. This album has been on repeat in my car for about 3 months now and it has made every family road trip infinitely more enjoyable. This cat has a real genius for melody and colloquialism that was obviously honed by years of trial and error in the various bi-ways of American blue collar music. The finest country album of the 21st century and it certianly holds its own against the best efforts of the outlaw era.

Crockett plays country that makes Hank Williams proud. Lyrics that you feel deep inside. Charley lived it. Great back band. Never tyiing to over power Charleys singing. This is an album that would be played 60 years ago on country music stations. Today I hear him being played on sxm Outlaw Country station.

Charley is a masterful songwriter. So smooth. There's a ton of beauty in the simplicity of his melodies and the way words just roll off his tongue.
Not a bad cut on this album. Enjoy every last darn second. And I know we're ALL itching to get back to some live shows. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Need to see Charley's GET UP in person. Man has STYLE.
