Indeed it is a good cd. When it first came out in 1992, I was a bit surprised, especially that before that he had nothing but fast moving salsa. But I read the reason why he did it and agreed with him. Tito Rodriguez left us with his great music to listen to. He was a pioneer and a powerful singer, perhaps the best in his time. Gilberto did a tribute to him because he was one of his favorites. "Mio" is my favorite bolero or slow jam in this recording. "Que Sera" and "Buscando La Melodia" with Papo Lucca on piano, are my favorites as far as fast moving salsa goes. All the boleros are nice, but you have to be in the mood to listen to them. If you're in a picnic and put those, look for tomatoes and more to be thrown at you.

If you love Gilberto, this is a must have recording. He pays tribute to Tito Rodriguez and does him justice. This will one day be considered a Classic. Great on-line price.
