One of the best albums of 80

I was born in 1991. I listened to all Joel’s music throughout my childhood and teenage years. This is a top 3 Billy Joel, in my opinion. And they are all really great!

This is as close to a full on hard rock album from Billy Joel as he ever made. The style suited him pretty well.

Hearing this album again brings me right back to the 70s when I was in high school and early 80s when I had my first job. I used to listen to it over and over and over and over again and probably will do the same thing now I’ve downloaded it to my phone.

I love every single song on this album! The best in this order: Through the Long Night is #1, and then I Don’t Want to Be Alone, All for Leyna, Sleeping With the Television On, Close to the Borderline are all tied #2. Then the rest are tied #3. This album has no bad songs. I love them all.

This was different, but worked so well

If you like Billy Joel this was the album to have in the 80s. I remember being 10 years old living in Cleveland and they put this album cover on a giant billboard it totally blew me away. This album has so many great songs on it and has a great cover. It will always be the one I remember the most.

This is one of my first albums ever!! Love Billy Joel and will forever!! ❤️❤️❤️

Listened to this vinyl over and over in '80, perfect summertime cruising tunes.
