Such a great collection! This whole boxset showcases the "behind the scenes" side of Phil. He didn't always have to be the center of attention, which is why we all love him.
Love it! But I wish it was on Spotify.

I love this box set, it’s amazing, but it’s only on iTunes. I wish it was on Spotify, and as an album, not as a playlist of a select few songs. I’m a huge George Harrison fan and I love the 1987 Prince’s Trust version of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”. I couldn’t wait for this box set to come out so I could save it to my Spotify but I found out the box set wasn’t on Spotify. I would like to have it along with the rest of the box set on my Spotify. If there’s no way of putting the box set on Spotify then please add “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” to the playlist that’s already on Spotify. I hope you take my review into consideration.
Disappointed

I've been a HUGE Phil Collins fan forever but this collection although with extremely talented people really isn't a Phil Collins album. I was looking forward to some amazing new ballads from him and it was not there. I've listened to the whole thing like 3 times and some of the songs are growing on me but over all, I was a little bummed. He still is an amazing drummer though!
Love it!

Phil has almost done it all. His Abbey Road medley is great and this whole LP is a tribute to a guy that has well, almost done it all.
Pay NO attention to 2-Star reviews

I wouldn't want to pay $40 for a rehash of"old second-tier songs" either, but that is certainly not what is packaged here - This compilation is certainly a testament to Collin's versatility as a "session drummer" and musician - I have been a Phil Collins fan since the early 80's I believe this is a better collection and representation of his work than any Greatest Hits presentation.
Well Done !
a really cool idea

This was a really cool idea that you would think would run into problems in the licensing stage, etc., but it DIDN'T. Someone described these as second-tier songs. Maybe a few...but I think the rare tracks are the attraction. I have most of the hits Phil played on. It's pricey, but it's a LOT of music unified by Phil on drums. Very cool.
Holy cow!

There's some great and RARE tracks on here. Some of these you simply cannot get digitally (at least until now). For example, "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball" as far as I know is not only out of print, but hard to find used on vinyl, and near impossible to find used on CD. This collection is a real gift to music fans.
Nope

The day that I pay $40 for a bunch of old second-tier songs just because Phil Colloins was the session drummer has not yet arrived. And never will.
