What is not to LOVE of Phil Collins. I remember hearing all the hurt and communication back in the days through his works and thinking what a strong creative person to write through his hurt. Then hearing his music take you one a journey. Phil Collins thanks for all the journeys and especially you getting through yours.

Really? Look harder at the nee Face Value he has new songs not just 3/4 mins but almost 8? So new versions of a great album plus new ones. That makes perfect sense to me? Just buy the new ones you havent heard the re recordings they usually update them? Wait until its done then you will see the difference! 👀

Wow, I came across this album by chance and started to listen to it. It brought be back to the 80ties and 90ties when I was a younger man with various girl trouble. I also remember the movie about the great train robbery where some of this excellent music is from. It is always a great experience to hear true artists who can give us listeners great experience.

Amazing cover version of a true classic. This tour was one of his strongest efforts ever. Listen to Leeland Skylar's bass playing on this track. It's impressive and yet not overbearing. I saw all 5 nights of this tour in Philly. Absolutely amazing!
  • Instrumental live version!

UNfortunately I didn't pay enough attention when I bought this. It is not the single version of Against all Odds, but rather is a live instrumental version. :(

Now you see, this is what real music sounds like. I am 16, I listen to rap for the majority, but I know what real music sounds like when I hear it and Phil Collins is one of the only artist from his time that I'm really feelin. I love this cd becuz its basically a compilation of songs with the style that Phil Collins best perfects, and I can really get into the groove of his style with thes tracks. I love Phil collins, him and Bill Withers are the best of there time no doubt.
  • Against All Odds is from ‘A Hot Night in Paris’

I have the original 2 CDs and Against All Odds is a vocal. The iTunes version is from ‘A Hot Night in Paris’. Putting that to bed, Phil is extremely talented considering that he doesn’t read music and that doesn’t seem to stop his creativity from being a Songwriter, Musician, to an Actor and playing more than 4 instruments. It would have been nice to have Why Can’t I Wait Till Morning, which was recorded with Fourplay on the ‘Elixir’ Album. I just hope that he keeps recording for many more years.
