When I first bought this album I ended up with chicken pox and strep at the same time. This got me through very high fevers and delirium. Sounds best through headphones. A true masterpiece. I still listen to this album at least once a month.
  • Pink Floyd's Most Divisive Album?

Tthe last Pink Floyd album with co-founder and major driving force, Roger Waters and carrying over some of the more personal themes from the massive double-album 'The Wall. Critics and a former bandmate criticized this album of being more of a solo album as well as merely subpar tracks from The Wall. While I agree that this is hardly a group effort, I disagree that these were subpar tracks. The tracks were left off The Wall were deemed too personal. While this is not my favorite PF record, it just might be my favorite album of all time!

Absolutely a Waters masterpiece. The most underrated Floyd album by far.
  • Egomaniac solo debut from Waters

Not a Floyd album. Period. Roger’s debut solo record with guests David Gilmour and Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. A nice collection of leftovers from The Wall. This was Roger’s attempt to kill off Pink Floyd and launch his solo career.

Sounds like leftover scraps from The Wall that were taken out of the dumpster. No wonder Gilmour didn't want anything to do with this...pure rubbish!
  • More Raw and Roger Waters and less Pink Floyd

I really like this album. It doesn’t flow like The Wall did. But I think it’s more raw with a lot more individual ideas trying to be fleshed out. It’s like when you get a bad ass B-side album of your favorite band and all the songs are great as individual songs but don’t really work as a cohesive album in a linear fashion. I prefer it to the wall personally.
