    The music of The Banner Saga is just as refreshing as the game it accompanies. Austin Wintory has crafted a score that deftly expresses the melancholy and stubborn perseverance of the game's characters as well as the frigid loneliness of the Nordic world they inhabit. I honestly can think of nothing negative to say about Wintory's work; the score is cohesive, rich and a vastly entertaining listening experience.
