This came out when I was a freshman in college. I grew up with the folk songs of Joan B, Brothers Four, Kingston Trio, etc., then discovered classic rock in the 60s. When I heard this album, it opened up so much more of music types! Iron Man was disturbing…in a good way. Never looked back, this a foundational album of incredible writing and music.

This was one of 3 albums that introduced me to
Hard Rock/Heavy Metal. The year was 1984 and Nothing would ever be the same for that 11 year old me. Long live Metal. Thank you Black Sabbath and Ozzy!

Tony Stark was iron man he wasn’t to strong but he was still a little. Iron man had really strong amor and had blasters on his hand and had a blaster on his chest. There is a evil iron man named Whiplash. He has whips that shoot out of his hand. Iron man and Whiplash began to fight. Blast!! Boom!!! Whip! Kick! Hit!! Iron man won! Whiplash was defeated! The End.
Classic Metal Album!

Many people have thought there are many heavy metal bands better than Black Sabbath. But they are all stupid fools. I would agree that Metallica, Def Leppard, Van Halen, and many are just as talented as Black Sabbath. But I must say that it is stunning to listen to their very high skill with Paranoid. Black Sabbath did what no band did before: They made all their music about much darker themes than other bands like The Beatles who mainly focused on love themes and ballads to women. But no matter what heavy metal band changes the genre no band is better than Black Sabbath whose lyrics that tell stories of iron men and depression have changed the way music is made.
