Not so bad, but…

Father rest Ozzys soul. To me he had the best vocals in metal music history. Been listening to Black Sabbath since my early teens in the early 90’s. This collection isn’t so bad. However if you want the best collection just purchase all of their albums. Their isn’t a bad song. The first 8 are Ozzy as vocals. After he went solo, he got replaced with singers like Dio. To me it was never Black Sabbath without Ozzy. The Dio years are great but in reality it’s just Dio. His vocals are amazing and kinda overpowered the music of Black Sabbath. Dio was the best in Solo. To me Black Sabbath is one of the best bands ever. This isn’t a bad collection at all. If you’re a new fan and just want some hits at a decent price then I recommend. There is a $60 collection as well of the first 8 albums from 70-78. I never purchased it because I have all the albums individually. If you’re new to metal start here. The godfathers of metal. The best band to start with.
Awesome

How about adding the song "Evil Woman" to track # 5 to Black Sabbath debut album? then you have completed 7 tracks (Euro release) instead of 6.
Ultimate Rehash

Don’t get this. It’s a rerererelease if the songs you already have.
Waste of money.
How can this be ultimate without all the years?
Thanks for more garbage Sharon.
The money keeps rolling in.
Get the Black Box

The mastering on this is not the best. The “Black Box Complete Black Sabbath” masters are far superior to this 2011/2012 Reissue series. This is a mere sampler for that Remaster series. After much scrutiny , the Black Box series remasters are much more enjoyable , wider imaging, better depth , more detail.
Great collection of the Ozzy Era

Realistically you could just get this instead of buying their first 8 albums and you’d have everything you need, ignore the moronic reviews.

I can not process this. It is all old songs, great, but we should all already have these. The definition of an ultimate collection is every studio album including the ones with Dio and Gillan. There is already one that seems more ultimate than this.
