I'm sure these songs are definitely better with Halestorm, but not that great of a cover song selection. Just stick with writing your own if you can't get the rights to better ones.

In my humble opinion "Gold Dust Woman" is the absolute greatest song ever written and recorded. I have hated every cover of it that I have ever heard, until this one. This version is seriously good. Not Stevie good, but its close.

Halestorm has allready demonstrated an affinity for reworking other songs in their own gritty, potent way. They understand that a cover should never be an "improvement," rather, a different perspective on the work of another artist. That being said, I think Brian Johnson, Rob Halford, and all the unmentioned of this album should feel intimately honored by the renditions offered here of this (by all means) young, up-and-coming band.

why did you cover 1996 you cannot come close to Marilyn Manson, but the other songs on the ep are rather enjoyable and I like these guys, but just don't remake another Marilyn Manson song.
