  • Missing Songs from v1.0

Some songs are missing like the Coerthas region battle theme. Also give props to Uematsu for doing the original score for this game. He hadn't done a FF score since IX. In the FFXIV collectors edition he said he made 80 songs for that game--this OST isn't all of it. But it does include the new tracks from the latter boss fights (primals, Mog King, and White Raven).
  • Best of FFXIV Original and New Music

This contains great selections from the FFXIV original soundtrack, by Nobuo Uematsu, as well as many of the new tracks added since launch, including the Mog, Garuda, and Van Darnus boss fight tracks by SOKEN. Even though this doesn't include all the music in FFXIV, it's still over 3 hours of music from FFXIV, and is on par with the other entries in the series. Rise of the White Raven in particular is excellent. Also note that the tracks are grouped by region, in order: Coerthas, La Noscea, Thanalan, The Black Shroud, and Mor Dhona.

This OST has all the music from FFXIV 1.x. It's a nice collection release before 2.0
  • Great album...

but some of the songs are named incorrectly. Fix this and I would give five stars. Songs like "The Hall og Flames" is mispelled and is actually the Mor Dhona theme. "Twilight over Thanalan" is actually the battle theme in the Thanalan region. The actual song is labeled "Quick as Silver, Hard as Stone", which is probably the battle theme? Switch those, I'm guessing... I'm pretty sure there are others, but you get the idea.
