This type of music is pretty much all I listen to. This is a very good album. It's hard to believe that it came from an iOS game!!
Great soundtrack

Once you play chaos rings you become very drawn in to the world. The Overall storyline is fantastic and the characters are unique and entertaining to learn about, the music is haunting but beautiful. There are some nice flavors of music in here from the instrumental rock in purgatory to the beautiful piano from the "together at dawn" melody. If you loved the game at all you will definitely want to pick up the soundtrack!
Good soundtrack

Sorry, I just have to clear this up:
1. Nobuo's surname is spelled Uematsu.
2. He didn't write the music for FFXIII, Masashi Hamauzu did.
Now about this soundtrack, it's a good listen and you'll probably want the music after you play the game. ^^

The music score for this game was great, and is one of the reasons I play this game. It's not exactly Nobou Eumatsu, but it doe feel reminiscent of Final Fantasy XIII, specifically in track 5; "Fall from Grace". It reminds me of the music you hear in the Feywood and Giruvegan. Still it keeps its ties to its 8-bit siblings and has that wonderful synth sound to it. I do have a problem with it though. That being that much of the music seems to be put to the same style if environment; a one of swords and magic; even the style of architecture of the cities and towns in the latest few releases has been very similar, unlike the world in Final Fantasy VII & VIII, and the music reflects that immensely. It also bugs me how Nobou Eumatsu hasn't been composing the music for it lately ether. That's one of the things about Final Fantasy VII & VIII the music is just amazing how well they relate to the stories and what the characters are feeling! One Winged Angel and Liberi Fatali are my absolute favorite pieces that Nobou has made for the Final Fantasy series. Still this Score is wonderful and matches the story very well. My only suggestion would be to start being more vibrant with the artistic details in future releases, and maybe even bring back the GunBlade or Mobile Gardens Concept from FFVIII, maybe even start making sequels for the earlier Final Fantasies.
You people are sooo confused...

Just because SQUARE ENIX publish the game. That does not means SQUARE ENIX made the game. If ENIX hadn't merge with SQUARE I imagined MediaVision would have had ENIX publish ChaosRing.
Amazing music

This is a simply beautiful soundtrack that, like the game itself, screams of Square Enix at every turn. If you're a gamer, you've likely noticed that this company is creating not only a look for itself with character and landscape and fashion designs, but a sound for itself with its very specific style of music as well---regardless of the artists---and both are absolutely amazing.
Go ahead, it's okay, get lost in the world of Square Enix.
