    nothing like Kollaps has ever been released. a landmark album, although on a first listen definitely a challenge for someone unfamiliar with the band, but worth it if you consider yourself a fan of industrial music. much as trent reznor released his fury with the downward spiral, EN did so a decade or so earlier with just as brutal results on Kollaps, one of my all time favorite title tracks.

    If Kraftwerk are the Godfathers of modern techno, than Einsturzende Neubauten are the Godfathers of industrial. Literally. Sheet metal, oil drums, air compressors, PVC pipes, ROCKS. All used as instuments. They define the word in musical terms. ALL HAIL THE KINGS.
