If I'd known EN was going to come into my life I certainly would have--even though it's not always necessary. This is not the easiest music I've ever listened to, but it's definitely some of the most rewarding. Come to it with an open mind--it's all you really need to bridge the language gap "a Dada."
Not as brilliant as silence is sexy, but.....

it's still fantastic.
I may not love every song here but they all are deserving of praise.
my favorites- Nagorny karabach(This reminds me of Bjork's "Hidden Place" lyrically)
Ich hatte ein wort (Very Uplifting, yet fully articulated, and courtly)
Alles Wieder Offen(A somewhat traditional EN song, bringing out all of the old mainstay sounds and lyrical play yet still new enough in the right places to beat away stagnation.)
Susej(This one reminds me of "Total Eclipse of the sun" Yearning,Elegant,and Sinister.)
And of course, How could I not love "Ich warte" it sounds to me like "folk EN"
I Hope their entire next album sounds like this!
(Of course, with a little klaviermusik and ambient thrown in)

This is the first time I ever gave five stars. EN is one of those few groups that been around forever but keeps getting better with every recording. This is an improvement over their last album (one of my favorites) and I think they were more deliberate about editing in this instance because there is not a single point in this recording where it becomes boring or I ask myself "What the hell am I listening to?" It's beautifuly orchestrated and highly... futuristic?? You will love this if you are open to their idea.
