I first listened to this album a lot in the winter of 2003/2004 when i was in college in Ohio. To this day this music makes me feel the cold air on my skin whenever I listen to it. There are maybe a few albums that cause such a physical responses in me. His minimalist, ambient sound is extremely versatile, and appropriate for many different listening experiences. I really enjoy it in the car when I travel to the bay area, especially if I am arriving at night in the rain or fog. While a lot of electronic music has an urban flair (which includes some of Loscil's other works) this album feels incredibly natural and organic without feeling etherial or "spacey." I highly recommend Loscil as an artist, and Triple Point as a must-listen album for any fan of minimalist music.

I just discover Loscil recently and was very impressed with the minimal / subtlety in Loscil's work. I have to agree that I am one of those loyal experimental electronic freaks that stays within certain record labels and artists, namingly Warp and Rephlex records. If your a fan of Biosphere, Rapoon, and Boards of Canada, definitely check out Loscil.
