This guy just keeps putting out more great music. He must never sleep! I love the use of instruments in his scores; there's lots of textural color. Mr. Sheppard is one of my new favorites from the lesser known camp of composers along with Nico Muhly ("The Reader"), Abel Korzeniowski ("A Single Man"), and Josh Kramer (download his "Beginnings" album, it is fantastic). Just like a hearty, protein-rich breakfast, these albums will keep you satisfied for a long time.
