I really like what I've been hearing from Philip Sheppard lately. For some reason that I can't quite put my finger on, his music stands out from a lot of other composers. He is definitely one to watch in the future, up there with Nico Muhly ("The Reader"), Abel Korzeniowski ("A Single Man"), and Josh Kramer (download his "Beginnings" album, it is fantastic). Just a few treats to keep your musical palette satisfied.
