    Philip Sheppard is IMO moving up in the ranks and compares to some of the bigger, well-known composers. I like that he's still kind of obscure like Desplat was a few years ago, at least here in the states. My two favorite tracks are The Arrival and Why I do What I do. I love anything with a good piano and violin or cello. I also like Lens Flare and basically the first 6 or 7 tracks quite a bit. If you like this, I would recommend Josh Kramer's two albums, as well as anything from Rachel Portman, Bruno Coulais "Oceans", and Dario Marianelli.
