Mr. Taylor's Lifetime Masterpiece

This is the finest album that James Taylor has made...or is likely to make. This record will prove to have serious "legs". "Legs" means that this album will be listened to and remain an important work of art for many generations. it will always sound fresh.
This is also Mr. taylor's most AMERICAN record. It has a solid historic core...'buried 'neath ground' with the rusting old flintlocks and Springfielsd from our wars. "Time to lay God's rifle down..." YEs, this record will be listened to in university music classes 100 years from now.
What ever you believe , if you like Mr. Ttaylor's work even a little, THIS is the record you should not miss. His second best? Hmmm. —Maybe Mudslide Slim or In The Pocket.
James Taylor is the greatist American baritone CROONER of the 20th and early 21st century. This means that he is ahead of Bing, Dean, Frank, Chick Bullock and perhaps even Nat Cole. Before you think me a fool, remember that the above singers did NOT WRITE songs. If Mr. Taylor had written only The Frozen Man, that would have put him on the songwriting map.
James Taylor is an American treasuree and this is the record that I believe he let out all the stops and tried to make a masterpiece. His latest record is good...but there is a large difference between 4 and 5 stars. people rate far too high. E.g., 3 stars is a GOOD record and well worth a listening. There are but few four star records. There are alomost NO 5 star records. (I.e. as rarting should be done). We ust remember to leave room for the all the levels of quality. Most people seem to give 4 stars if the lijked more than 2 songs for a onth and then did not listen to the record again. This is 2-1/2 to 3 stars.
