One of the greatest live albums start to finish of all time. I was first introduced to this album about 10 years ago and have listened to it steadily ever since.

PLEASE buy this album. I have been listening to this for over 15 years and it is still in my rock rotation. This live album has everything you could ever want : soul, crunchiness, solos, you name it. It should be listed with the all time great solo albums of rock and roll. "The Leaving Song" gives me chills every time i listen to it all these years later. This was from a time when BHTM was at the top of their game and never faltered.

Sounds just as good as the show I saw in Raleigh, NC!

Think of any BHTM song that you like....if there is a version of it on "Live Monsters", then you will find that it is better, funkier, juicier. BHTM really come alive on stage! Not only are the songs a virtual "best of" selection, but the powerful voice of Hazel Miller, who tours with them occasionally, lends a lot of soul to a song when she attacks it. Check out "Its Alright". There isn't a bad song (nor an average one) on the entire album - it only gets better with repeated listening!
