i can understand why a casual listener would find this album boring, but for an attentive and able listener, on the corner is pure gold. mclaughlin shines!

Honestly, this is the perfect jazz record. Just an absolute masterpiece of fusion jazz, buy it now and thank me later. You really won't find a better way to groove anywhere. It will make your desert island list for sure!

On the Corner is by far one of the most important American records ever made, not only in jazz, but in every type of music. It is ground breaking and still fresh after all of this time. Another Miles great.

This album is a non-stop groove from start to finish. Very funky, very upbeat. If you like the preview clips, you'll like the entire album. One of Miles' best records, in my opinion.
