Ok I really like this song and really the only reason people hate it is because it’s not true to form. It’s not “classic Green Day” it’s newer and different. It really annoys me when people just rag on them like they are the worst band ever. A. Your a fan of them right that’s why your listening I mean why would you listen to a band you don’t like
B. Screw off and stop acting like you know everything about them
C. Bands can change
D. If you were really a fan you wouldn’t be hating on them like it’s Justin Bieber
E. They may not be relevant but they still make music (and this comes from expierence) which is quite hard

This single has absolutely no identity and no feeling. A heartless, soulless piece of a quick downward spiral in the Green Day canon, and a sad thing to see for any fan.

While I long for the sound of Dookie, I know bands have to grow and evolve. This song has that late 90s/early 00s Warning era Green Day and there's nothing wrong with that along with some hints of the newer sound
