Not only is the song awesome, the music video fits so well with the song - and all with a brick wall and some paint! I had to constantly remind myself that it was an animation, not a video (except at the end). Sweet!!

Now I know this isn't the intro but it's the first "song" on the album so I will refer to it as the intro. This video capitalizes on the heavy-hitting intro (Song of the Century) this music video shows the beginning of Christian and Gloria's story. It shows the effed up little town he grew up and introduces Gloria. Who, in my opinion is his way of getting away from a bad home where his presence is unwanted. I think that the car fixing scene symbolizes them running away. That's just me though. PS this song is even better live in Washington, D.C.! :)

This was the video that got me started on Green Day. I saw it a couple months ago and now I have all of Green Day's songs on my ipod. I like the sound of their earlyer songs, but I love the new album. Its really deep. And I like the new style too. And Billie Joe is HOTT! This video is awesome, I like the graphics.
