I love Sia’s music and I still love her, and everybody makes mistakes😑. You guys that do have autism though I see what you mean. And this movie might’ve offended some people and if you are reading this have a great day!😁

My favorite part of the film Music was the dream/dancing segments! (I’ve worked for the autism community, and my recent minor in college was in disability studies.) Music was an ambitious film and could have been researched more thoroughly. However, I think it’s heart was in the right place, and hopefully there will be another musical in the near future, focusing on the disability community. Sia’s film deserved the Golden Globe nominations and hopefully that will open the door to future films portraying the inner worlds of people who have disabilities.

She apologized and made up for the ableism in the movie, she didn’t realize how horrible Autism Speaks is, just get over it already.
  • Excellent!

I would say this is one of her best albums, which is saying a lot. I am continually amazed at how talented a singer/songwriter she is. The movie itself was OK but nothing exceptional. The videos were typical Sia with Matty. Some work and others don't, but this is typical of art. It certainly doesn't deserve the ignorant hatred it has received. Just enjoy the great music!
  • Don’t listen to the haters!

Not gonna lie I really liked the soundtrack to the movie but I’m very disappointed and disgusted at the fact the casted the autistic character with someone who isn’t on the spectrum just because it was “hard” to work with someone who actually is on the spectrum. There are actresses who are on the spectrum maybe not ones that are non verbal but there are actresses who have autism. Do your research before you represent something like this
  • People are idiots not to like this/Not ableist at all

I watched whole movie it was great, soundtrack was great too, nothing about it was ableist at all. Everyone’s saying “she could’ve casted someone with autism” I get Maddie Ziegler wasn’t the best option and kinda dumb, but did it ever occur to any of you haters that maybe the people without autism wanted to display how special and gifted people with it are? Because I watched the movie and the entire focus of the movie was Music’s unique view on life and how talented and gifted she was and how she is more carefree and fun loving than all the non austistic adults around her. She could’ve casted someone with autism yes but it’s not nearly as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. All you haters should get off your lazy butts and actually watch the movie and listen to the album instead of watching a trailer or reading crappy biased reviews off the internet. #GoSia, #Sia4Pres

Just don’t do it. If you do you’re supporting Autism Speaks.
