Oklahoma embodies Keb' Mo's 25 year musical journey in the blues/americana/r&b field. Half of the album is downright fun tunes such as "RIding on a Train" and "I Remember You," while the other half presents the listener with socially and inspiring stories, such as "Oklahoma" and "This Is My Home". All said and done, the album is pure Keb' Mo' with masterful songwriting, and each tune produced by how it feels best to him, and independent of genre.
